Mission of the Congress is to become a source of new opportunities for innovative development.

The intensive three-day program offers different forms of interaction between the participants: panel discussions, exhibitions and Technology Parks Session.

The following experts have already confirmed their participation in the Congress: Elina Yurina (MICEX[1]), Dionis Gordin (RUSNANO), Yan Ryazantsev (Russian Venture Company), Olga Manannikova (Head Hunter), Sergey Golubitskiy (President of the IT Directors Club, Novosibirsk) and Irina Travina (SibAcademSoft).

The first day of the Congress will be devoted to the presentation of leading Russian and transnational corporations – partners of the Congress. The corporations will present innovative projects whose realization enhanced efficiency and facilitated further development of their activity. Exhibition “Formula for Success” will be the apogee of successful implementation of innovations at the plants of the Novosibirsk Region and Siberia. At the Plenary Meeting the experts will evaluate the effectiveness of interaction between investment and finance institutions, innovation and scientific companies, and industrial complex in the sphere of the development and implementation of innovations. The program of the first day also includes panel discussions concerned with the issues of the development of technology parks, special economic zones and scientific towns (naukograds). The experts will discuss large corporations as the source of demand for innovations, mechanisms of government support and stimulation of innovation development, intellectual property protection and corresponding legal issues. Discussion “Financing of Innovation Projects” will be concerned with the issues of venture investing. It is also planned to discuss implementation of new information technologies as a necessary factor of innovation development at plants.

The second day of the Congress will start with the exhibition “Formula for Success”, which will be supplemented with INNOCROSS presentations of small and medium innovation companies from Russia and G20 countries. INNOCROSS gives a real opportunity to expand business contacts with innovation companies from twenty countries and lay the basis for future partnership relations and joint projects with foreign companies. The major goal of INNOCROSS is to organize interaction between the representatives of different fields of innovations activity from different countries. This must provide favorable conditions for the development of innovation projects basing on international experience. One more event to take place on September 24 is Technology Parks Session “Skolkovo – Competitor or Partner?” where directors of Russian technology parks will discuss the development prospects in the context of innovation business.

Panel discussions of the second day will touch upon the themes of energy efficiency, investment into innovations, preparation of human resources for innovation breakthrough, and infrastructure necessary for the development of entrepreneurship based on the new technologies. The meeting with representatives of Massachusetts Institute of Technology and directors of Silicon Valley companies will also take place on September 24.

September 25 is the final day of the Congress. Before the Awards Ceremony it is planned to hold 2 discussions: on peculiarities of IT market development in Siberia and on successful international cooperation of innovation companies. The central event of the third day will be the Ceremony of Signing Agreements between the authorities of the Siberian region and Russia, transnational corporations, and innovation companies from Russia and G20 countries.
